F301R – Additional Lanes Joining from Right (2 to 3)

Where two traffic lanes join the main carriageway, forming one extra lane, there are two possible arrangements: either the left-hand or the right-hand joining lane forms the additional lane, while the other lane merges. Signs F 303L to F 304R are available for use where the left-hand lane forms the additional lane and Signs F 305L to F 306R for use where the right-hand lane does. Signs F 303L, F 304L, F 305L and F 306L are for use to face drivers on the main carriageway, and Signs F 303R, F 304R, F 305R and F 306R are for use on the joining carriageway.
