P067 – Supplementary Plate – Safe Height for Overhead Electric Cables

All signs are manufactured in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual Ireland, which outlines the standards in temporary traffic management in Ireland. All Chapter 8 roadworks signs are to be RA2 face material. The chapter specifies the requirements for the use of temporary traffic control measures, such as signs, barriers and cones, in roadworks and other temporary traffic management situations. Safe Height for Overhead Electric Cables: this plate may be used in conjunction with Sign W 111 to advise vehicles of the safe height available. The safe height should be agreed with the owner of the electrical cables and rounded down to the nearest 0.1m.
