WK018 – Start of Central Reserve or Obstruction

All signs are manufactured in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual Ireland, which outlines the standards in temporary traffic management in Ireland. All Chapter 8 roadworks signs are to be RA2 face material. The chapter specifies the requirements for the use of temporary traffic control measures, such as signs, barriers and cones, in roadworks and other temporary traffic management situations. Start of Central Reserve or Obstruction: this sign should be used to depict the start of a separation of traffic travelling in opposing directions either side of a central reserve or
obstruction.
