WK031 – Two-Way Traffic

All signs are manufactured in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual Ireland, which outlines the standards in temporary traffic management in Ireland. All Chapter 8 roadworks signs are to be RA2 face material. The chapter specifies the requirements for the use of temporary traffic control measures, such as signs, barriers and cones, in roadworks and other temporary traffic management situations. Two-way Traffic: this sign should be used where a one way street or part of a dual carriageway is converted to a two-way operation for the purpose of carrying out roadworks.It may also be used to highlight a two-way diversion around the works.
