WK035 – Merging Traffic from Left

All signs are manufactured in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual Ireland, which outlines the standards in temporary traffic management in Ireland. All Chapter 8 roadworks signs are to be RA2 face material. The chapter specifies the requirements for the use of temporary traffic control measures, such as signs, barriers and cones, in roadworks and other temporary traffic management situations. Merging Traffic from Left: this sign should be used where two physically separated streams of traffic proceeding in the same direction join the same undivided section of the carriageway. This sign should be used on the main carriageway where a stream of traffic merges from the left.
