WK061 – Flagman Ahead

All signs are manufactured in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual Ireland, which outlines the standards in temporary traffic management in Ireland. All Chapter 8 roadworks signs are to be RA2 face material. The chapter specifies the requirements for the use of temporary traffic control measures, such as signs, barriers and cones, in roadworks and other temporary traffic management situations. Flagman Ahead: this sign should be used to indicate the presence ahead of manual or automated traffic control by means of Stop and Go discs. This sign may be used with a Supplementary Plate P 001 stating the distance if forward visibility is poor, and on roads with speed limits of >80km/h.
