WK071 – Uneven Surface

All signs are manufactured in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual Ireland, which outlines the standards in temporary traffic management in Ireland. All Chapter 8 roadworks signs are to be RA2 face material. The chapter specifies the requirements for the use of temporary traffic control measures, such as signs, barriers and cones, in roadworks and other temporary traffic management situations. Uneven Surface: this sign may be used to indicate that there is an uneven surface for vehicles, usually associated with the different layers of surfacing or planning of the road surface. At the start of the relevant section of road, this sign should be erected with Supplementary Plate P 080 Slow.
