WK098 – Convoy System in Operation

All signs are manufactured in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual Ireland, which outlines the standards in temporary traffic management in Ireland. All Chapter 8 roadworks signs are to be RA2 face material. The chapter specifies the requirements for the use of temporary traffic control measures, such as signs, barriers and cones, in roadworks and other temporary traffic management situations. Convoy System in Operation: this sign should be used, in conjunction with either sign WK 060 or WK 061, to indicate to road users that a convoy system is in operation through the works.
